About the Role
As the Engineer (Supportability) (Reliability) at Babcock you will play a key role in delivering Integrated Reliability, Maintainability and Testability engineering modelling and analysis to support the development and optimisation of Mission and Support System solutions.
The role involves producing reliability data, documentation and technical artefacts across activities such as reliability modelling, while also contributing to broader Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) tasks including LORA, MTA, life‐cycle cost analysis and verification and validation activities. In this position you will support technical investigations, risk assessments and trade‐off analysis, ensuring engineering outputs meet required standards of quality, cost and schedule. You will also contribute to continuous improvement, knowledge sharing and the development of sustainable, innovative engineering solutions across the organisation.
About You
To be successful you will bring an accredited engineering qualification and early‐career experience in reliability engineering, a developing understanding of reliability modelling tools and engineering systems, and a commitment to ongoing professional development and growth. Clear communication, a collaborative mindset and a positive, solutions‐driven approach are essential. Experience with ILS programmes, PLM systems or mentoring junior engineers is beneficial, though a genuine drive to learn, share knowledge and build capability is what truly stands out.
