Position Overview
The Accounting Team Leader plays a crucial role in the financial operations of South Burnett CTC Inc. This full-time position involves leading a dedicated team of Finance Officers to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of core financial functions such as accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and compliance with financial regulations. Reporting to the Finance & Corporate Services Manager, this role is integral to maintaining financial integrity and supporting the broader operational goals of the organisation.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting and finance, complemented by excellent leadership and communication skills. We are looking for someone who is not only detail-oriented but also capable of building relationships across various levels of the organisation.
* Tertiary qualifications in business, finance, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
* Proficiency in MYOB or similar accounting software, with extensive payroll processing knowledge.
* Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop team members.
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to present financial data effectively.
Additionally, candidates should have a commitment to customer service excellence, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a dedication to upholding compliance requirements within the organisation.
Salary & Benefits
