The Big Picture
A civil and vegetation management / ag-services business needs a reliable Office Manager to take ownership of admin, accounts, scheduling, payroll, and general office operations.
You'll be the right hand to the owner and keep everything moving — from materials bookings to machine servicing to simple socials.
What You'll Be Doing
Admin & Front Desk
* Answer phones, emails, and general enquiries
* Keep files, folders, and documents organised
* Support project paperwork and compliance
Accounts & Payroll
* Process accounts payable & receivable
* Run weekly/fortnightly payroll for the crew
* Reconcile transactions in Xero/MYOB
* Work with the bookkeeper/accountant when needed
Scheduling & Operations
* Schedule crews, machines, and trucks
* Book materials, plant, subs, and deliveries
* Track servicing for trucks, excavators, tractors, mowers
* Maintain registers (licenses, tickets, inductions, regos, insurances)
Marketing / Socials
* Post simple updates on Facebook/Instagram
* Use Canva for basic job posts or announcements (easy stuff)
Must-Haves
* 2+ years in administration or office management
* Experience with AP, AR, and payroll
* Comfortable dealing with drivers, operators, mechanics, crew
* Strong organisation and attention to detail
* Good with Xero/MYOB + Excel/Sheets
* Someone who can juggle a busy day without getting flustered
Nice-to-Haves
* Experience in civil, vegetation, earthmoving, construction, or agriculture
* Scheduling or service-tracking experience
* Confidence running basic social media posts
