Our purpose is simple: make possibility a reality.About The Role:As our Enterprise Risk and Assurance Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in strengthening our organisation’s risk culture and resilience. Reporting to the Head of Risk and Assurance, you'll lead initiatives that embed best-practice risk management and assurance frameworks, policies and strategies. This is a senior-level role suited to someone with deep expertise in risk, strong analytical and reporting capabilities, and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.What You’ll Be DoingLeading the review, development and implementation of the Risk Management Framework, associated policies and procedures, and operationalisation of the risk appetite statementProviding expert advice and coaching to stakeholders across the business to identify, assess and manage risks aligned with organisational strategyDesigning and delivering second-line assurance plans and reporting on the effectiveness of key controlsOverseeing risk system administration, including data integrity, reporting, and continuous improvementAnalysing incidents and emerging risks—internal and external—to identify organisational impacts and recommend preventative actionsFacilitating risk education and capability-building activities, including workshops and trainingDeveloping comprehensive and actionable risk reports for executives and governance committeesSupporting the annual corporate insurance renewal process, claims assessment and ensuring alignment with risk appetiteWhat We’re Looking ForMinimum five years’ experience in a senior risk advisory role, ideally within a large, complex organisation · Tertiary qualifications in Risk Management, Governance, Business Continuity, IT or a related disciplineDeep understanding of contemporary risk management frameworks, enterprise risk systems, and compliance obligationsDemonstrated ability to develop risk policies, operational risk registers, continuity plans and assurance strategiesStrong analytical, facilitation and reporting skills, with an ability to translate complex risk concepts into practical solutionsHigh-level written and verbal communication skills and proficiency across Microsoft Office and risk platformsExperience delivering risk education and engaging stakeholders at all levelsMembership of a relevant professional body (e.g. RMIA, BCI) is highly regardedExperience working within the not-for-profit or disability sector is highly regardedBenefits and Perks:Salary Package up to $15,900 of your annual salary tax free, and additional $2,650 for meal and entertainment expensesUse your pre-tax income to purchase a new or used car, saving on both the purchase price and running costsDiscounts on Corporate Private Health Insurance, selected Kia vehicles and white goods at Harvey Norman Discounted family gym memberships through Fitness PassportSupportive induction and learning opportunities6 week’s paid parental leave for primary carerFree coaching and counselling through our Employee Assistance ProgramReward and Recognition ProgramIntrigued?
