About you
We are seeking an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander professional who brings strong cultural credibility, deep community connections and a passion for creating meaningful outcomes for First Nations peoples. You will have 5–8 years of experience in First Nations consulting, community engagement, project management or First Nations design integration, and the ability to turn conversations into clear scopes, frameworks and delivery plans.
We're looking for someone who is a natural relationship-builder, someone who communicates with clarity, humility and confidence, and who can provide trusted cultural insight to clients and internal teams. You will be comfortable working both collaboratively and independently, with the judgement to stay aligned to a senior practice lead while leading your own work.
The ideal person will bring emotional intelligence, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex, fast-moving environments. You'll be someone who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, manage multiple projects at once, and bring structure to ambiguity.
Above all, we're looking for someone grounded, values-based and committed to cultural integrity, truth-telling and community-centred outcomes, someone ready to help shape impactful work across Arup's First Nations Advisory practice.
