About the Role
We are searching for a talented Chef de Partie to join our culinary team and contribute to the exceptional dining experience at Cape Lodge. Working alongside our Head Chef and team, you will manage your designated kitchen section and help craft innovative, seasonal dishes that reflect the highest standards of quality and creativity.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Focus on evening dinner service from approximately 3pm onwards
* Manage your station efficiently, ensuring all dishes are prepared and presented to perfection.
* Collaborate with the team to maintain the seamless operation of the kitchen.
* Prepare and cook seasonal menus featuring local and garden-fresh produce.
* Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and food quality.
About You
* Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a fine dining or luxury hospitality setting.
* A culinary qualification or equivalent training.
* Passion for local produce and a commitment to sustainability.
* Strong knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen operations.
* Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining precision and focus.
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
