About the role
Based in Angaston and reporting to the Logistics Manager – Central Warehousing, this permanent, full-time role will involve leading the logistics team who work with our Production function to deliver our service expectations, with a focus on safety, costs and building a great team culture.
Key requirements
• Coach, support and manage the logistics team to deliver our service promise while adhering to internal processes and procedures, with a key focus on safety and our safety management plan.
• Manage the rostering of the team to meet operational requirements, including the daily time minder reporting and team leave.
• Work effectively in a team environment while providing leadership that fosters and promotes a positive team culture.
• Facilitate and support effective and timely communication with key internal stakeholders, providing data and insights to accurately reflect service delivery against expectations.
• Drive continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to improve whilst keeping things simple.
• Work closely with the Angaston Production / Bottling team to safely deliver all operational expectations.
• Investigate missing stock, truck delays, inventory and credits.
About You
You will have demonstrated success in a leadership role preferably within a logistics environment and be an effective problem solver when dealing with competing priorities.
You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills and can lead and positively influence others as well as develop strong relationships with customers, internal stakeholders and suppliers.
