Hyson Green in Bruce is a 48-bed mental health unit in Canberra, we are seeking a Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team. We know many psychologists are drawn to private practice for flexibility and income — but at Hyson Green, we can offer the best of both worlds.

Your main duties will include:
Provide professional health services that include assessment, formulation, counselling, therapeutic intervention, case management, consultation and referrals as required.
Develop and deliver group therapy programmes and therapeutic interventions for clients attending Hyson Green Day Programme and/or In-Patient programme.
Consult and liaise with other health professionals and external agencies to ensure ongoing support for patients during their recovery.
About you
Tertiary Qualifications in Psychology (unable to take Provisional Psychologists at present).
Professional registration with AHPRA to practice as a psychologist.
Appropriate clinical experience, including demonstrated skills in assessment, treatment, therapeutic intervention,
group work
, case management, and casework.
Demonstrated ability to design and deliver effective group programmes for patients and their families.
