The Opportunity
Our client is a leading network and brand, and known for their strong presence in the Australian community. Due to a resignation in the head office accounting team, our client is seeking a capable senior accountant with strong communication skills. If you are looking to make the transition from public practice into commercial accounting, this is the role for you!
The Role
* Take ownership/responsibility for your client list, managing client expectations and deliverables
* Ensure financial reports are completed on time with commentary as required.
* Ensure all GST and Payroll tax returns are lodged accurately and on time
* Monitor, coach and develop your direct reports and facilitate their performance reviews.
* Provide the franchisees with exemplary client service, focussing on proactivity and responsiveness.
About You
* Commercial experience, or at least 4 years' experience in Tax & Business Services
* Solid understanding of the Balance sheet and Profit & Loss function
* Outstanding communication skills
* Ability to liaise with franchise store owners via zoom, by phone, and face-to-face
* A history of mentoring junior staff
