Position
The Commercial Landscaper will have good working knowledge of landscape practices and experience in managing small and large commercial projects.
In this role, you will be managing commercial projects while being hands on in completion of the works.
Responsibilities
* Understanding of project budgets and being able to communicate task timeframes to field staff.
* Relay project progress to Project Manager on a regular schedule.
* Complete understanding of project scope of works.
* Recognition and reporting to Project Manager when variations on site may be required.
* Daily reports and logs taken of works completed, materials, machinery and labour hours used.
* Quality control on site, ensure all paperwork is complete as required.
* All site safety procedures are in place and followed by all ground staff.
* Project planned ahead of time and all materials ordered well before required on site.
* Ensuring prestart and Toolbox talks are complete as required.
* Having daily work sheets signed off as required.
Successful applicant will have experience with the below
* Minimum 5 years' experience in commercial landscape construction
* Ability to operate bobcat and excavator
* Driver licence, MR Truck licence or willing to get MR Licence.
* Reading and understanding of plans and specification
* Basic computer skills
* Understanding of structural landscaping
* Certificate III in Landscape Construction or demonstrated industry experience
