Operations Support Officer (loans administration)
Contract: 6 Month Contract - Chance of extension
About the role Our client, a major banking organisation, is seeking a Junior Operations Support Officer to join their operations team on a 6-month contract. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who has strong attention to detail and is comfortable with data entry, processing, and administrative support within a structured banking environment.
Key responsibilities
* Accurate data entry and maintenance of loan and customer information
* Supporting loan administration activities such as account updates, reconciliations and basic reporting
* Assisting with rate changes, term extensions, redraws and account adjustments
* Meeting daily productivity and quality targets
* Updating tracking spreadsheets and supporting management reporting
* Communicating professionally with internal stakeholders
* Assisting the team with general operational and administrative tasks as required
We're looking for
* Previous experience in administration, processing, data entry or customer service
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Good time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines
* Confident using systems, spreadsheets and standard office tools
* Reliable, proactive and willing to learn
* Comfortable working in a structured, process-driven environment
* relevent Cert or Degree
Nice to have (not essential)
* Exposure to banking, finance or loan processing
* Experience working in an operations or processing team
* Familiarity with financial services systems
