Senior CIAM Technical Software Engineer
We are seeking a Senior CIAM Technical Software Engineer to play a pivotal role within the Identity and Access Management (IAM) function. This is a long-term contract role for 12 months with 12 months extension, located at our client's office in Canberra or Brisbane.
About the Role
* Lead the design, implementation and optimization of a major customer identity and access management (CIAM) project within an Azure and AWS Cloud environment.
* Work closely with stakeholders to ensure that the CIAM solution aligns with security standards, and compliance regulations.
* Implement and optimize a major customer identity and access management (CIAM) project, focusing on external and customer user registration, authentication, authorization and user profile management.
* Work independently on competing and often urgent tasks to achieve agency CIAM outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into effective CIAM configurations.
* Configure and manage CIAM features, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and security best practices.
* Optimize the CIAM solution for scalability, performance and user experience, leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies.
* Prioritize building automations and integrations to enhance CIAM capabilities and streamline user interactions.
Requirements
* Strong experience and expertise in designing, implementing and optimizing customer identity and access management solutions.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Experience with CIAM products such as Auth0, Okta, ForgeRock, Ping, Akamai, or equivalent.
* Ability to lead and mentor junior staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
Desirable Qualifications
* Experience working in an industrialised cloud Data Lake and/or EDW environment.
* Process Mapping-Able to translate discussion into data flows and process documentation.
* Experience working within project management frameworks, the tools, and phases of the project lifecycle.
Clearance Requirements
Candidates must be Australian citizens with the ability to obtain a Negative Vetting 1 clearance.
