Overview
Clinical Neuropsychologist role at St Vincent’s Health Australia. Part-time (20 hours per week), Permanent.
Location: Caritas Mental Health Unit, St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney. Salary: $109,247-$133,156 (Pro-rata) + Super + Salary Packaging. This is not open to recruitment agencies.
Role responsibilities
- Deliver expert psychological assessment, diagnosis, case formulation, and evidence-based treatment for older adults experiencing complex mental health issues across diverse healthcare settings.
- Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological and capacity assessments for individuals with neurocognitive disorders, mental illness, or neurological conditions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and community partners to interpret neuropsychological findings and guide tailored treatment planning.
- Lead and support clinical research and training initiatives within Adult Mental Health driving innovation and best practice.
- Provide specialist consultation and liaison to stakeholders involved in the delivery of neuropsychological services for older adults.
About You (Qualifications and Experience)
- Post-graduate qualifications in Clinical Neuropsychology, with full AHPRA registration and specialist endorsement.
- Experience conducting detailed neuropsychological and capacity assessments, and producing clear, practical reports that inform treatment plans.
- Commitment to consumer involvement in treatment and recovery within a collaborative, recovery-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently with initiative and as part of a multidisciplinary team, adapting to different clinical settings.
