We are searching for a proactive and skilled Senior Test Engineer to join our dynamic product development team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the FW development team to define, plan, and execute tests on module and system level. You will serve as the interface to stakeholders in the firmware department and manage time estimation, methodology, coverage, and test schedule. Additionally, you will seek improvements in efficiency with the FW testing and Product V&V team.
What you'll be doing:
* Collaborate with the FW development team to define relevant tests on module and system level.
* Plan and execute tests in agreement with stakeholders.
* Prepare test stations and take part in lab activities together with colleagues in V&V.
* Report and documentation of results.
* Act as the interface to stakeholders for FW testing function in related efforts estimation, methodology, coverage, test schedule, and budget/resources need.
* Seek improvements in efficiency with the FW development and System V&V team.
* Serve as the testing expert, guiding junior test engineers to the team's success.
* Participate in new test methodology development, and adaptation to applicable new technologies or tools.
* Engage in an agile team environment.
What will help you succeed
* Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Automation Technician, Technology Management/Marine engineering or equivalent experience.
* Proficiency in planning and conducting tests, with meticulous attention to detail, and experience in failure mode analysis.
* Proven experience in testing and validating power electronics or similar large-scale systems.
* Proven experience working in a lab and preparing test setups for large-scale systems.
* Knowledge of 3-phase power conversion product is plus.
* Knowledge on UL1778 & IEC62040 is a plus.
* Understanding firmware development and its interaction with hardware is a plus but not required.
* Reliable, analytical, and structured with a proactive mindset; a collaborative team player who is open-minded and inclusive, thriving in diverse, cross-cultural environments.
