About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a nurturing and compassionate Community Support Worker to join our team at Mounties Care. The role involves supporting clients across Coomera, QLD on a Casual or Part-time basis.
Duties
* Accompany clients during daily activities, running errands and going on outings
* Food preparation and shopping
* Assist in personal care and hygiene such as showering and dressing
* Perform household tasks such as cleaning, washing and folding clothes
* Provide social interaction and companionship
* Transport clients to appointments
About You
* Hold a Certificate 3 in Individual Support or similar qualification – essential
* Previous experience in aged care or disability – at least one year
* Hold an NDIS clearance or willing to obtain
* Have a COVID‐19 vaccination
* Have a current Police Check or willing to obtain
* Have a current First Aid Certificate including CPR or willing to obtain
* Must have own car and relevant insurance
* Dementia care qualification – desirable
* Proficient verbal and written communication skills
