Are you looking for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity? Ayers Rock Resort is searching for a Commis Chef to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT which is 20 min drive from Uluru, one of Australia's most iconic and culturally significant landmarks.
We are seeking a passionate and Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent) qualified individual who is driven and focused with a desire to learn and succeed in a culinary/hospitality career. You will have minimum 2 years post apprenticeship experience working in a kitchen team within large restaurants, events, hotels or resorts, to working with a group of like-minded legends. A la carte and buffet experience will be highly regarded, HACCP training is advantageous.
Key Duties
Undertake all kitchen and service duties including cleaning, food preparation, basic cookery, organisation and guest service; Effectively communicate with other members of the kitchen staff during preparation and service; Multitask in a calm and orderly way while carrying out many different orders simultaneously in a brief amount of time.
