About the role:
The Allied Health Assistant works as a member of the Banana Allied Health Team, providing acute and subacute care to inpatients of the Biloela Hospital and outreach Multipurpose Health Service facilities, as well as outpatient and community patients. Care is supported through the provision of clinical support tasks under the direction and supervision of an Allied Health Professional.
Assist in the provision of treatment to patients as prescribed and indirect supervised by the Allied Health Professional. This includes group facilitation and graded interventions according to guidelines set by the Allied Health Professional.
Prepare individual or generic treatment resources as directed by the Allied Health Professional.
Maintain the treatment environment including room preparation and maintenance, cleaning and inventory of equipment and stock.
About you:
Whilst not mandatory, a relevant qualification would be well regarded.
Willingness to enrol and complete a related AQF Certificate IV course within an appropriate timeframe may be a condition of employment.
Working with Children Clearance is a requirement of this role.
Demonstrate efficient and safe work practices and adaptability with competing work priorities in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Work effectively in a multidisciplinary team while building and maintaining appropriate work relationships with clients, colleagues and stakeholders.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $82,130 p.a. is comprised of:
An hourly rate between $ $36.30 p.h.
12.75% employer superannuation contribution
