About the Role: This position is responsible for international and domestic purchases of products from Toyota Material Handling Australia approved suppliers as well as supporting the National Parts Distribution Centre and branch network in relation to freight and general parts enquiries. Please note this role is not a hybrib role and requires attendance in our offices at Moorebank, 5 days per week. Key duties & responsibilities: Place orders with local and international suppliers in accordance with Toyota Material Handling Australia branch stock demands and M3 forecasting models Oversee the purchasing process to ensure required parts are ordered within factory and Toyota Material Handling parameters as efficiently as possible Ensure TMHA WHSE policies and procedures are adhered to within NPDC and branch network Liaise with freight forwarders on inbound AIR and SEA (including VOR) freight shipments arrival dates, action delayed shipments, and coordinate with National Parts Distribution Centre (NPDC) team in preparation for receiving Regularly communicate between suppliers and Toyota Material Handling Australia (TMHA) branches in relation to order ETA’s, ensuring TMHA ETA enquiries are responded to in a timely manner Liaise with the factory on all OEM brands to ensure a continued supply of parts. Report any supply chain issues and implement countermeasures and resolve issues in a proactive manner Review stock in transit between supplier and branches, actively liaise with branches and action discrepancies where required Analyse and review supply chain data to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner, keeping National Warehouse Supervisor informed of shipment details Work with suppliers to ensure that TMHA is receiving the desired quantity of stock in a timely manner Coordinate the logistics of purchase orders, stock transfers, deliveries, and processing Monitor TMHA dashboard, ensuring that supplier invoices are processed in a timely manner Interpret parts related enquiries from the Toyota Material Handling Australia (TMHA) branch network including VOR orders, ETA enquiries, loading part numbers on file and availability enquiries Ensure aged parts orders (> 6 months), are reviewed weekly to ensure zero aged orders Required skills, knowledge & experience: Strong administration background with experience in Microsoft office systems Excellent verbal and professional written communication skills Considerable knowledge of supply chain and logistics - preferred Time management skills and ability to work autonomously Strong Computer and Microsoft Excel skills Strong attention to detail and data analysis skills Customer service orientated Problem solving capability Proactive critical thinking Self-motivated/proactive Team player About the Company Toyota Material Handling Australia (TMHA) is Australia’s number one forklift company.
