The Canteen Supervisor leads the daily operation of the College canteen, delivering fresh, safe, and nutritious food for students and staff. Working closely with the Operations Manager, this hands-on role coordinates food service, staff and volunteers, and ensures a welcoming, efficient canteen that reflects the values of MVAC and Newcastle Anglican.

About your experience
* Experience managing cash handling, EFTPOS, basic budgeting, and stock control
* Ability to plan and deliver menus in line with healthy school canteen guidelines
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environment
* Well-developed communication skills, with the ability to engage positively with students, staff, volunteers, parents and suppliers
* Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
* Demonstrated experience in school canteen operations, hospitality, or food service, including supervision of staff and/or volunteers
* Sound knowledge of NSW food safety legislation, hygiene standards, and WHS requirements
* Current Working with Children Check
* First Aid and CPR Certificate
* Certificate III in Hospitality, commercial cookery, business or other relevant qualification
* Experience working in a school or educational environment
* Experience using electric point-of-sale systems and basic reporting
* Experience implementing sustainability or waste-reduction practices in food services
