Job Opportunity
This role involves delivering expert industrial and employment relations advice across a health service. The position is temporary full-time for six months.
* Develop, review, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and supporting frameworks.
* Provide high-level advice, research, and analysis on complex employment relations and human resource matters.
* Represent the health service in industrial tribunals and commissions, including preparing submissions and advocacy as required.
* Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including unions, government agencies, and health teams, while managing a small team and contributing to a positive workforce culture.
Requirements
Strategic, influential, and solutions-focused professional with deep expertise in employment and industrial relations. Key capabilities include:
* Analysing, developing, and evaluating HR policy and procedure documentation within a complex service environment.
* Knowledge of industrial relations legislation, awards, and agreements relevant to the Queensland public sector and public health system.
* Highly developed research, analytical, communication, and advocacy skills, with the ability to prepare high-quality reports, submissions, and advice.
* Proven ability to negotiate, influence, and build productive relationships while providing leadership, coaching, and support to others.
