A rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced full-time Chef de Partie to work at the Burleigh Leagues Club. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced full-time Chef looking for a new challenge in a fast-paced, high service environment. You will lead by example and use your prior knowledge within the hospitality industry to assist with the smooth running of the kitchen.
Responsibilities
 * Planning and costing diverse menus for the club's bistro, casual outlets, and large-scale functions.
 * Managing daily food preparation and cooking for high-volume bistro service and large event catering.
 * Monitoring the quality, consistency, and presentation of all dishes from preparation to final service.
 * Coordinating the daily workflow and operations of a large, multi-section kitchen to ensure efficiency during service.
 * Demonstrating cooking techniques and training kitchen staff and apprentices on club recipes and presentation standards.
 * Implementing and enforcing all workplace health, safety, and food hygiene regulations throughout the kitchen.
 * Estimating food requirements, ordering supplies, and managing stock levels for all dining outlets.
Qualifications
 * Minimum 2 years' experience as a Chef.
 * At least a Diploma degree in a related field.
 * Strong leadership skills.
 * A flair for classic and modern food trends.
 * Strong experience in banquet / catering.
 * Remain calm under pressure.
