As a Customer Service Trainee, you’ll be part of a dedicated team that goes above and beyond to meet the needs of our customers and make a real impact in their lives.

About the Role:
We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals who are interested in building a career in banking. This traineeship provides hands-on training and practical experience in all areas of customer service within a banking environment. The successful applicant will work full time for two years combining on the job specific training and study, allowing them to gain a nationally accredited qualification upon completion. You will be based in Wollongong and also spend some of your time at our other Illawarra branches. The role is ideal for school leavers, or anyone with a passion for helping people and a desire to develop a career in the financial sector.

Key Responsibilities:

* Greet and assist customers with everyday banking transactions

* Educate customers on bank products and services that align with their financial goals

* Maintain accurate records of transactions and customer interactions in line with bank policies

* Contribute to a positive branch atmosphere

What We’re Looking For:

* A genuine interest in customer service and community engagement

* Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with people of all ages and backgrounds

* A team player with a positive, can-do attitude

* Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn new systems

* No previous banking experience necessary but a commitment to learning is essential

* Must have a current driver's license and own transport
