They are now seeking a Project Estimator who enjoys problem-solving, working with detail, and supporting projects from initial pricing through to contract administration and production coordination.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare accurate project pricing based on contract drawings, specifications, and client requirements
* Estimate workstation configurations and associated product components for commercial projects
* Prepare and submit tenders, expressions of interest and quotations
* Price contract variations and communicate with sales and operations teams
* Prepare job cards and documentation for production, supporting efficient workflows
* Coordinate sales orders, quotes and production planning with accuracy and attention to detail
* Maintain CRM system with up-to-date client and project information
* Request and review supplier quotes, identifying cost-saving solutions during tender phases
* Liaise with internal stakeholders providing day-to-day project and client account support
* Provide regular feedback on pricing competitiveness and tender win/loss analysis
* Attend occasional site visits to ensure project requirements and specifications are met
* Assist in preparation of client presentations and other client-facing activities as required
Skills & Experience
* 2+ years experience as a project estimator, ideally within commercial furniture or workplace sectors
* Experience with tender preparation, submission and documentation
* Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications and technical documentation
* Strong understanding of customer journey, client expectations and stakeholder management
* Technically minded with strong estimating, planning and problem-solving capability
* Excellent communication and client service skills, confident liaising across diverse stakeholders
* Highly organised with ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
* Proficient in MS Office; experience with CRM, ERP, QMS or production systems valued
* Professional approach with ability to build rapport and understand diverse stakeholder needs
* Detail-oriented with commitment to quality, accuracy and continuous improvement
