Job Overview:
As an AHS Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Autonomous Haulage Systems (AHS) and other mining tech systems. You will work directly with state-of-the-art equipment to ensure seamless integration and top-tier performance.
Key Responsibilities:
 * Install AHS and related mining technology on-site and in Perth workshops
 * Maintain and service autonomous vehicles and systems to minimize downtime
 * Diagnose & Repair mechanical, electrical, and software faults
 * Collaborate with broader tech and operations teams for seamless integration
 * Document installations, servicing, and issue resolutions
 * Ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will require:
 * 2+ years' experience with autonomous systems, heavy machinery, or mining tech
 * Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software systems
 * Proficiency with diagnostics and system troubleshooting
 * Relevant technical certifications or qualifications in engineering, mechatronics, robotics, etc.
 * Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
 * High attention to detail, safety-first mindset, and adaptability to new technology
 * Background in autonomous mining systems or fleet management systems (FMS)
 * Familiarity with control systems and wireless networks
 * Experience in software updates and integrations
 * Comfortable working in remote or challenging environments
