About Us

Quality Living and Support Services (QLSS) is a values‐led organisation operating within the community and disability sector. Our work is complex, human and deeply impactful and how we communicate that work matters.

We are seeking a Brand & Content Lead to take genuine ownership of our brand, voice and public presence. This is not a "just post content" role it is a leadership position with real judgement, autonomy and accountability.

The Opportunity

This role exists to own, protect and grow the QLSS brand across all digital and public‐facing platforms.

You will be the single point of authority for brand, storytelling, content direction and social media governance supported by AI‐enabled tools to reduce low‐value administration and allow focus on strategy, ethics and quality.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Brand Ownership & Governance

* Act as custodian of QLSS brand voice, tone and identity
* Develop and maintain brand and content guidelines
* Ensure consistency across digital platforms, recruitment and stakeholder communications
* Identify and manage reputational and ethical risk

Content Strategy & Direction

* Design and deliver a structured, forward‐focused content strategy
* Plan and manage content calendars aligned to organisational goals
* Shape content that supports growth, workforce attraction and stakeholder confidence

Social Media Leadership

* Full ownership of our social media presence (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
* Set standards for moderation, engagement and responses
* Move social media from ad‐hoc activity to intentional, strategic communication

Storytelling & Sector Voice

* Translate complex, sensitive work into respectful and human narratives
* Position QLSS as ethical, values‐led and professionally credible
* Protect dignity, privacy and safety in all stories shared

AI‐Enabled Content Development

* Use approved AI tools to accelerate drafting, ideation and repurposing
* Apply ethical oversight and professional judgement to all AI‐assisted outputs
* Establish clear boundaries for appropriate AI use in communications

About You

You are someone who:

* Has experience in brand management, content strategy or communications leadership
* Writes exceptionally well and understands tone, nuance and audience
* Is comfortable working in regulated, sensitive or human‐services environments
* Uses AI confidently but never without judgement
* Can say "no" when something shouldn't be published

Experience in disability, health, community or not‐for‐profit sectors is highly regarded, but not essential.
