Cognitive Neurology Researcher
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Cognitive Neurology Researcher to join our team at the Queensland Brain Institute (QBI). As a key member of our research group, you will be responsible for conducting high-quality research projects involving human participants with cognitive disorders due to degenerative brain disease.
Responsibilities
* Develop and coordinate research projects in cognitive neurology, working closely with our expert team to design and implement studies that aim to improve our understanding of these complex conditions.
* Conduct original research and enroll in a PhD program through the University of Queensland, demonstrating your ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
* Attend cognitive neurology clinics and contribute to clinical trials at Mater Hospital, applying your expertise to inform treatment decisions and improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
* AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner is essential for this role. In addition, you must have completion of two full-time equivalent years of core neurology training or recent completion of neurology training.
