Communications & Control Technician - Gladstone

As the Communications and Control Engineering Officers in Gladstone and Townsville, you'll help us connect a more sustainable energy future for more than five million Queenslanders and 241,000 businesses.
- Drive a strong Safety First culture by following and role-modelling best practices in the field
- Operate, maintain and upgrade our transmission network
- Install, test, commission and fault-finding complex telecommunications, electrical and logical circuits complementing HV systems
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Electronics and Communications or Electrical Trade Certificate
- Associate degree or Advanced diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent
- Restricted Electrical Licence
- Experience and knowledge of maintenance, testing and commissioning of multiplexer systems (PDH, SDH, and DWDM), MPLS-TP, fibre optic, and microwave radio
