We are currently seeking an experienced Psychiatrist in a consultancy arrangement (three days per fortnight) to complement our suite of services supporting people from refugee-like backgrounds who have experienced torture or trauma. Working alongside a highly skilled and trauma-informed clinical counselling team, this role is responsible for:
· Providing individualised clinical support to ASeTTS' high-risk clients, working with interpreters as required
· Diagnosing clients, and initiating and overseeing a medication and treatment plan
· Providing well-skilled, trauma-focused interventions
· Providing clinical supervision as needed to counselling staff
· Collaborating with counselling staff on client care plans within a shared care model
· Completing client notes, requested reports and related administrative responsibilities, and
· Providing advice as required to the Executive team on emerging client trends and needs.
