Operational Technology - Field Systems (Hardware) Technician
As the Field Systems (Hardware) Technician, you are responsible for delivering high-quality Operational Technology outcomes across the mining fleet and associated communications infrastructure.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities
* Setup, maintain and develop operational technologies such as LTE, Modular, CAT Mine Star, CCTV, Digital Radio, Network Access Point Servers, TCP/IP Networking, PTP and PMP Microwave Radio Links and associated communications infrastructure.
* Support continuous improvement and project initiatives delivered by the Field Systems team.
* Contribute to the ongoing improvement of Operational Technology Systems and processes including guidelines, procedures, templates and tools.
* Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Skills and Experience

* A tertiary qualification in Electronics or a related discipline.
* Experience in a similar field-based hardware role, ideally within large-scale mining operations.
* Exposure to Operational Technology systems and/or telecommunications environments.
* Experience working with LTE and Wi‐Fi communication networks.
* Experience with fibre optic systems (desirable).
* Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PDF).
* Well‐developed problem‐solving and analytical skills.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective workplace relationships.
* The ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a large team.
