Senior Network Project Manager – Mobile Core Program
This role will work in the Customer's Network Engineering group, which is responsible for the core of the Customer's Existing Network, including 4G / 5G packet, data & voice core, messaging services, real-time services, cloud infrastructure.
This role is responsible for planning, overseeing and leading projects from ideation through to completion.
It is a full-time senior Project manager role and requires interaction with a range of internal and external stakeholders, most often managing several of the Customer's projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
* Focuses on completing a project as efficiently and promptly as possible
* Managing several projects concurrently
* Leading project meetings, steering committee meetings and planning sessions
* Coordinating staff and internal resources
* Managing project progress and adapt work as required
* Managing relationships with clients and stakeholders
* Designing and signing off on contracts
* Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation
* Conducting project review and creating detailed reports for executive staff
* Optimising and improving processes and the overall approach where necessary
* Managing large and diverse teams
Qualifications
* Five or more years' experience, preferably in the telecommunications industry, with formal qualifications in a related field
* Background working in telecommunications core network (preferred)
* Written and verbal communication, ability to manage high-stress situations, multi-tasking, leadership, attention to detail, and technical understanding of telecommunications networks
