We’re looking for a motivated Engineering Apprentice to join our busy, fun and supportive team in 2026! Description About the Role: As an Engineering Apprentice, you’ll be working hands-on with our experienced engineering crew, learning the ropes while supporting day-to-day operations across our facilities. This is a fantastic opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining a nationally recognised Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade. You will: Assist in the maintenance and repair of winery machinery and equipment Develop skills in preventative maintenance, fault finding, fabrication and equipment installation Learn to interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications Gain experience in welding, machining, fitting and other mechanical tasks Work collaboratively with a team that values safety, learning, and a bit of fun along the way! *Please note, this position will not commence until early 2026. Skills And Experiences What We’re Looking For: A genuine interest in engineering and mechanical systems Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn Good communication and teamwork skills A safety-first mindset Completion of Year 10 (minimum) with sound results in Maths and Science Must be able to reliably commute to Milawa for work and TAFE, as required What We Offer: Full support in completing your Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade A welcoming team environment with experienced mentors Real-world hands-on experience in a unique industry Career development opportunities beyond your apprenticeship If you're ready to kickstart your career in engineering and want to be part of a leading winery organisation with a great culture, we’d love to hear from you!
