We have a permanent part time opportunity for a Clinical Care Supervisor working night shifts. In this role you will lead our clinical care team, delivering person-centered care that enhances the wellbeing, dignity, and quality of life for our residents.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Resident Services Manager, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional clinical care services on night shifts at our Residential Aged Care Home in Shepparton.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure comprehensive clinical and specialized nursing care is provided, documented, and tailored to each resident's needs
* Prioritise residents and their families in decision-making, considering their preferences, independence, dignity, and identified care-related risks
* Assist with AN-ACC reappraisals, including mandatory and voluntary assessments, as required
* Responsible for daily case reporting, care planning, and addressing patient concerns promptly
* Conduct routine clinical assessments to promptly identify and address any gaps in care.
Experience and Skills
* Experience as an RN in Charge in a residential aged care home
* Dedication to resident care and support
* Excellent clinical knowledge regarding medical conditions, palliative care, and care of people living with dementia
* High level interpersonal and written skills
* A positive and flexible attitude
* Experience in managing and leading staff
* Ability to effectively communicate with residents, resident representatives and other health professionals
* Current AHPRA Registered Nurse DIV 1 registration with no conditions
