Job Title: Senior Technical Specialist, Access Transport Design
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Specialist to lead the architecture, design, and delivery of cutting-edge Access Transport solutions. This role is pivotal in shaping our network, ensuring robust, secure, and scalable IP and Carrier Ethernet platforms that support our services.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Designing and integrating IP and Carrier Ethernet solutions into our Access Transport network.
* Producing high-level architecture and detailed design documentation aligned with business requirements.
* Performing lab testing, configuration, and implementation of network platforms.
* Acting as technical prime for projects, managing scoping, impact analysis, and deployment.
* Providing Tier 3 support for troubleshooting and problem resolution.
Requirements
* Advanced expertise in IP network design, routing, switching, and Carrier Ethernet architecture.
* Hands-on experience with Cisco, Nokia, Juniper platforms and service integration.
* Proficiency in network automation tools and scripting (Python, NSO, Ansible).
* Strong ability to produce high-quality architecture and design documentation.
* Deep understanding of lifecycle management and cyber compliance for network platforms.
* Skilled in Tier 3 support, incident resolution, and root cause analysis.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
