This role plays a central part in ensuring all operational, administrative and customer-facing activities are completed accurately, safely and efficiently, in alignment with company standards and objectives.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Customer Service Manager will lead a small, capable team responsible for coordinating customer orders, managing despatch operations, and maintaining financial and administrative accuracy.
The role requires close collaboration with production, logistics and management teams to ensure delivery commitments are met and customer satisfaction remains consistently high.
Key responsibilities include improving operational systems and processes using Lean principles, supporting better management reporting and communication flow, and identifying opportunities for increased efficiency across the customer service and despatch areas.
The successful candidate will also take ownership of administrative and financial controls, oversee accounts payable and receivable activities, and lead initiatives to enhance staff capability, engagement and service delivery.
