We're seeking two Workforce Officers to join our onsite HR/IR team in a casual capacity, supporting a shutdown workforce of up to 500 employees. These roles will be integral to the success of the shutdown, working closely with the team to provide on-the-ground support. Initially, shifts will run Monday to Friday, 9.5 hours per day, with a transition to 12-hour day and night shifts from August 2025, including weekends. The shutdown is scheduled to run from August to September 2025, and these positions will be key in driving smooth workforce operations throughout the project. Working with Monadelphous offers many benefits, some of which include: 2 positions available Casual rates allowances Site based, Darwin Safety and wellbeing at the forefront of our culture Key Responsibilities: Work under the direction of the Senior HR/IR Advisor and support employee matters and participate in the broader administration functions as required Provide essential support with data entry, document/records management, and general HR administration tasks, including preparation of HR related documentation and letters. Triage and respond to employee inquiries, serving as an initial point of contact for payroll, leave and Enterprise Agreement queries. Support the recruitment process and onboarding of new hires, including delivery of onsite inductions, working closely with Admin, Safety and new-hire team departments to ensure effective on-boarding, site access and appropriate induction training. Conduct escorts of union officials for right of entries. Ensure privacy & confidentiality is maintained at all times. What you’ll bring: Ability to operate on a 24-hour roster during August and September and work flexible hours including nights and weekends. C Class Drivers Licence Ability to pass Fitness for Work, including Drug and Alcohol testing A can-do attitude Team-oriented mindset with ability to use initiative and work autonomously Exceptional organisational skills to effectively prioritise and meet deadlines.
