Our Partnership and Integration team focuses on improving the primary healthcare system and influencing 'single system' thinking and improved integration of care.
We're looking for an innovative and proactive Manager - Partnership and Integration to lead a high-performing and committed team. In this role, you'll provide strong leadership across a broad range of health and wellbeing priorities and play a key part in building a positive, collaborative workplace culture while strengthening our program delivery.
This is a unique opportunity to help the health system work better together. You'll support stronger partnerships, improve collaboration and drive targeted efforts that enhance coordination, safety and quality of care.
What you would be doing
You will lead your team to improve integration across the system – from working with local services and communities, through to helping translate national and state policies and reform agendas into practical, on-the-ground actions that deliver real, measurable improvements.
Your day-to-day might look like this:
* Leading and supporting your team to help them grow and succeed
* Managing the team's operations, including recruitment and performance, budgets, projects and contract management
* Building strong, productive relationships across the health system
* Identifying and delivering initiatives that improve quality and outcomes
* Using research and evaluation to inform new and innovative approaches

* Strategic thinking and policy: The ability to understand national and state health policies and reforms and turn them into practical actions that make sense for Tasmania's local health system.
* Excellence in team leadership: Strong team leadership skills with the ability to support and enable high-performance and positive team culture
* Strategic collaboration, communication and engagement: Proven experience building effective relationships across organisations, with strong communication skills that support collaboration
