Are you ready to lead the strategic conversation for News Australia's most significant agency partnerships? We are seeking a dynamic, high-impact Client Partner to join our Consortium Account team in Sydney. This is a high-visibility role where you will act as the primary strategic architect for our major agency consortiums, bridging the gap between our iconic media assets and the complex business challenges of our largest partners.
The Role:
As a Client Partner for the Consortium account, you will lead the overarching sales strategy for a portfolio of major agency groups, turning deep market intelligence into commercially sound solutions across Print & Digital channels.
* Lead the establishment and maintenance of major agency consortium relationships, ensuring strategies align with high-level national goals.
* Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to design custom, multi-platform solutions that address the specific pain points of top-tier agency partners.
* Foster enduring relationships through collaboration, serving as a strategic partner who understands the competitive landscape and market trends.
* Lead client meetings and presentations, effectively communicating the unique value proposition and reach of our total media ecosystem.
* Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling across the network to maximize growth and consistently hit revenue targets.
Who are you?
* You are a proactive, action-oriented professional who excels at managing complexity and building trust at the highest levels.
* 3+ years of experience in account management or sales within a publishing or agency environment, with a proven track record of hitting revenue targets.
* Demonstrated experience managing large, complex client accounts, including contract negotiation and long-term growth planning.
* Strong analytical abilities with a knack for using sales metrics, KPIs, and pipeline activity to inform your decision-making.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to deliver tailored, persuasive presentations to senior stakeholders.
* A proactive approach to identifying market opportunities and developing innovative strategies to drive continuous improvement
