We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Lighting Designer to join our team.
THE ROLE
* Initial client interaction and client interface throughout the project.
* High level of ability to effectively manage workloads and timelines of projects.
* Documentation/ designs at all project stages under the supervision of Director and Design-Lead.
* Preparation of AutoCAD and REVIT drawings and lighting specifications for documenter/ junior designers.
* Issuing documentation in Aconex.
* Undertaking lighting calculations and lighting modelling .
* Checking documentation prior to issuing.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
* Proven background in previous Senior position.
* Ability to thrive in a creative fast changing design-led work environment.
* Strong eye for detailing and implementation of ideas.
* Efficient, autonomous and ability to manage time and tasks effectively and within deadlines.
* Proficiency with AutoCAD (essential).
* Proficiency with Photoshop, Indesign, SketchUp.
* Ability to communicate effectively and actively participate in projects with minimum supervision.
* Ability to produce lighting specifications and controls documentation.
* Ability to simultaneously work on and project manage a numerous projects and tasks.
ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS
* Design background qualification in Architecture, Design, Industrial design or similar.
* Demonstration of project and time management
