SMA Australia is seeking a Project Manager to join their Australian team in its division, Altenso Australia.
The Project Manager will act as the lead for construction and delivery of complex energy infrastructure projects. While initially focused on a battery integrator and splitscope contract structure, Altenso's offering will expand overtime to different business segments and possibly different contract structures. This role will focus on managing the interface with the clients (owners), the BOP Contractor (for the Balance of Plant), the OEMs, the engineering & procurement teams, and ensure the project is delivered safely, on time, on budget, and in line with technical, quality, regulatory and contractual requirements.

Educational Background
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or similar), Construction Management, or related field.
* Postgraduate qualifications or certifications (e.g. Project Management, MBA, PMP / PMI / PRINCE2) are a strong plus.
Skills & Experience Requirements
* At least 8-12 years project management experience in largescale energy infrastructure – especially battery storage / hybrid / renewable generation projects.
* Experience working in a "split scope" structure (Integrator / Principal / BOP Contractor).
* Proven track record in delivering projects through construction, commissioning and handover phases.
* Experience with utility scale / grid connected systems; knowledge of interfacing with network providers (NSPs), AEMO, regulators.
