About the role
We’re seeking Business Development Associates to join our Sales Development program based inSydney. You will be part of a hands-on, dynamic, and nurturing team providing the highest level ofsales support in procuring C-level executives in some of the world’s most successful companies aspotential new clients. Learn to apply strategic thinking and relationship building to engage executiveson using Gartner’s research and advisory services to solve their most pressing business challengesaround the world. You will understand their critical initiatives, align Gartner research and expertise,
and help Gartner maintain its growth by ensuring strong business development of new clients.
What you will do
1. Conduct lead generation, prospecting, and qualifying potential new clients.
2. Utilize your business acumen to research companies, C-level executives, business trends, and competitive intelligence to create detailed research based strategic communication plans.
3. Proactively schedule calls with prospective clients via phone and email (including cold calling).
4. Educate prospective clients on the value of Gartner’s renowned products and services.
5. Partner with Business Development Managers to create customized plans for sales territories, with a goal of supporting their monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets.
What you will need
6. Should be in the final year of graduation (graduating in Dec 2024)
7. Relevant work or internship experience in sales, retail, hospitality, or customer service
8. Ability to establish credibility and communicate with senior-level executives
9. Excellent communication, writing & problem-solving skills
10. Ability to plan and prioritize daily tasks/responsibilities in an effective manner
11. Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure
12. Collaborating with the internal/external stakeholders to solve problems
