Our Facilities Maintenance team provide planned and responsive maintenance, emergency repairs, disability modification upgrades, vacant restorations, property surveys, demolition, asbestos removal, and construction services throughout New South Wales, South Australia and Tasmania.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and reliableOperations Support Officerto join our Facilities Maintenance team, based at our office in the Launceston area.
As an Operations Support Officer you are accountable for responding to and coordinating work orders from start to finish, in accordance with set KPI's.
You will liaise directly with clients, sub-contractors and the operations team to ensure projects are scheduled, allocated and completed in line with agreed timeframes.
This is a fast-paced role in a dynamic environment, where no two days are the same and provides an essential service to the local community.
Key Duties
Review work orders and required works for completion.
Allocate works to sub-contractors.
Monitor progress of works, liaising with stakeholders as required.
Keep accurate and up-to-date records for all work orders.
Respond to inbound calls and emails.
Develop solutions to problems and errors as they arise.
Generate and distribute reports.
Assess work order claims and approve at completion.
Escalate compliance concerns to the operations team.
About You
The successful candidate will demonstrate high-level customer service skills and have previous experience working in an operations support role (experience in the facilities maintenance or building/construction industry will be highly regarded).
With multiple projects on the go at any one time, you will thrive working in a fast-paced environment, with excellent attention to detail and be adept at managing multiple competing demands to ensure work orders are completed in line with set timeframes.
You will be a strong communicator, both written and verbal and have the people skills required to build positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Working closely with our operations team, sub-contractors and clients, you will be an effective collaborator, whilst also being highly autonomous to coordinate all aspects of work orders without direction.
Previous customer service or administration experience.
Experience utilising software databases for keeping records and reporting.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Training and upskilling provided.
