Projects in the business are generally Industrial, Defence or Commercial in nature, experience with similar projects in these sectors will be an advantage.Ideal the candidate will have previous experience delivering Defence / Commercial / Industrial projects across new build, refurbishments, repairs, remediation, demolition, upgrades, HVAC etc. on buildings and some civil works.Responsibilities include but not limited to:Site Management of defence projects from set up to completionEnsure compliance with HSEQ requirementsEnsure effective cost control and efficient running of the projectCoordinate direct labour and subcontractorsProject progress reporting to the Project ManagementProvision of advice on any technical and engineering issuesLiaise closely with the client ensuring project runs to programQualifications and Requirements:Minimum 5 -10 years’ experience in similar roleCert IV in OHS is favourableProven management experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWell-developed interpersonal skillsExperience with Microsoft Office suiteConstruction Safety Induction (white) cardCurrent Driver LicenceAbility to obtain Police ClearanceAbility to obtain Defence ClearanceThis is a permanent full-time position providing a great opportunity to work with a successful and growing organisation who offer challenging work and the potential for career progression.If you have the skills and experience that we are looking for, click “Apply” to submit your resume or contact Jacob Montague-Day on jacob.montague-day@amida-recruit.com.au Sam Barnes on sam.barnes@amida-recruit.com.au for further information.
