Job Description:
* This is a leadership position responsible for spearheading the development of our HR function and workforce capability. You will report to the General Manager and collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team to deliver key organisational projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A proven track record in senior HR leadership, preferably within local government or a complex organisation.
* Strong understanding of industrial and employee relations frameworks.
* Demonstrated success in workforce planning, organisational development, and strategic HR transformation.
* The ability to influence and lead with confidence, authenticity, and empathy.
* A people-first approach with a passion for developing workplace culture, capability, and employee engagement.
* Tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management (or similar) and/or significant experience in a Senior Human Resources leadership role within local government.
* Minimum of Queensland C class provisional driver's licence.
