The Role: Specialist Technician

This role involves administration and maintenance of school network and ICT environments.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Will be responsible for server and network administration
* Demonstrated networking knowledge, including VLAN, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP services
* Experience in virtualisation technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V and/or Citrix
* Hands on configuration and troubleshooting of hardware like servers, firewalls, switches and wireless infrastructure

Additional Information:
* Tertiary education desirable (Cert 4 in IT Systems Administration or similar preferable)
* Certification in relevant technologies (eg. vCloud, MCSA, CompTIA)
* Previous ICT/Helpdesk experience within schools highly desirable
