Job Overview
Lady Nelson Sailing Adventures presents a unique opportunity to work as a Marine Engineer on our historic sailing ship.
As a volunteer, you will be responsible for assisting with ship operations, maintenance, and visitor engagement. Key tasks include ensuring the safe operation of our two diesel engines and auxiliary generator.
You will receive comprehensive training in pumping bilges, fuel, fresh water, and black/grey water systems.
This is a regular volunteer position requiring a commitment of more than 6 months. The time required is negotiable across 4 days per week, and sometimes overnight.
