Located on the edge of Noosa National Park, Peppers Noosa Resort & Villas offers premium studio to four bedroom apartments and villas. The Park & Cove restaurant on the site serves up to 80 patrons, celebrating the unique people, produce, history and culture of the Sunshine Coast. Surrounded by waterways, untouched national parks and wide‐open beaches, Noosa invites guests to explore and unwind during their downtime.
Purpose
As a Public Area Cleaner you are an essential member of our Housekeeping crew, ensuring our shared spaces are impeccably clean and paying close attention to detail. You will work independently or with the team, interacting warmly with guests and providing assistance as needed.
Primary Responsibilities
* Ensure the property always looks its best, inside and out.
* Spruce up indoor and outdoor public areas (including pool, gym and shared bathrooms) to meet high cleanliness and presentation standards.
* Support room attendants with room cleaning and linen removal as needed.
* Handle specialised equipment and chemicals safely.
* Assist guests with inquiries and security matters, collaborating with different departments to accomplish tasks.
* Report maintenance and guest services issues promptly, from maintenance problems to damaged equipment and missing items.
Skills and Experience
* Previous experience in a similar role (cleaner/room attendant/public areas attendant) is a plus.
* Communication style is warm and welcoming, making guests and team members feel at ease.
* Eye for detail and efficient work style, managing time well and taking pride in tasks.
* Adaptability and physical fitness to work in both internal and external environments, including staircases and uncovered areas.
* Enjoy collaboration with colleagues from various backgrounds.
* Reliable transportation and availability for a variety of shifts including weekends and public holidays.
