**About the role**
You will lead the brand direction and evolution across the business, ensuring continual growth as the business transitions to the next generation of drinkers. You'll also lead a team of Campaign Leads to deliver on the customer go-to-market strategy across all channels, influencing for change and achieving business scorecard objectives.
You'll be accountable for:
- The Dan Murphy's brand, embedding Drink Better through the business ecosystem, driving top of mind awareness/mental market share, brand preference and advocacy.
- Lead all brand plans, campaigns and activations, ensuring it delivers to the business strategy and marketing objectives.
- Manage the development and execution of strategic or highly commercial Brand campaigns.
- Ensure consistency across all touchpoints across the Brand Architecture, Creative, Communications and Voice of Dan Murphy's.
- Manage the Brand A&P budget, including forecasting and month-end reporting, driving efficiency of spend and effective budget management.
- Oversee creative agency partnerships, including reviewing performance, ongoing contracts and engagements.
- Partner with key stakeholders to play a pivotal role in the acquisition & advocacy of new customers.
- Lead & inspire a team of 4 direct reports, empowering them to work end to end in a matrix environment; developing talent and future leaders.
- Partner with Merchandise & Operations to drive 'Drink Better' through the Customer Trade Plan.
**About you**
This is an exciting opportunity to share your passion for Marketing and storytelling, collaborating cross functionally to build marketing and customer plans that wins the hearts and minds of our customers.
To be successful you'll have experience in the following:
- Demonstrated experience in a marketing role, with experiences in brand and campaign management.
- Experience in developing and executing strategic plans over a 1-5 year horizon
- Experience in influencing internal stakeholders including marketing teams and your peers within a cross functional business.
- Experience managing external agencies and briefing creative teams.
- Experience leveraging customer insights to derive a plan.
- A demonstrated ability to communicate and influence effectively with all levels of team across a complex matrix operating model.
- Excellent presentation and data storytelling skills.
- Project management & agile mindset/experience an advantage.
- Tertiary qualification, preferably in marketing or equivalent experience.
