* Facilitate change within the team, helping and coaching maintenance personnel to improve strategies and eliminate inefficiencies from the maintenance processes.
* Conduct routine condition monitoring activities (vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasonic testing, and oil sampling).

The successful candidate should possess the following:

* Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related discipline; OR
* Trade qualifications (Electrician, Fitter, Mechanical Technician, or similar) with significant condition monitoring experience;
* Familiarity with mineral processing plants and associated fixed plant maintenance practices, with strong experience and knowledge of lubrication systems, reliability and condition monitoring principles.
* Demonstrated understanding of preventative/predictive maintenance principles.
* Proficiency in thermography, vibration analysis, oil analysis, ultrasound, and other predictive maintenance techniques.
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability to interpret asset health data and detect early signs of equipment deterioration.
