What you'll do:
* Champion Safety: Help manage our workplace health and safety (WHS) programs, including coordinating risk assessments, incident reporting, and promoting a proactive safety mindset among staff.
* Ensure Compliance: Keep our documentation up-to-date for food safety, product contact materials, and general safety regulations. You'll also assist with internal and external audits.
* Coordinate Training: Help plan and deliver essential safety training, ensuring our team is well-equipped with the knowledge they need.
* Promote Well-being: Support initiatives that promote employee health and well-being, including health monitoring and special safety events.
* Problem-Solve: Assist with identifying and implementing improvements to safety and compliance processes.
What you'll bring:
* A strong understanding of WHS principles and practices.
* Experience with compliance or quality assurance, ideally within a manufacturing or food-related environment.
* Excellent organizational and communication skills.
* A proactive and collaborative approach to teamwork.
