Job Overview:
We're looking for an experienced Category Buyer to lead our Footwear category. You will be responsible for leading the category and working with our Trend team to deliver on big ideas and key lifestyle items that align with brand DNA and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to department reviews, apply learnings to category decision making, and chase growth opportunities to ensure the success and profitability of our brand.
Collaborate with Production and support your Buying team to deliver on products that are in line with category strategies and compliant and cost-effective.
Requirements:
Tertiary qualification or degree in relevant field i.e. Buying.
Demonstrated experience working with production, trends and buying teams to achieve strategy visions.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with internal/external stakeholders and support teams.
Previous leadership role in a multi-brand global retailer preferred.
